The new year brings with it a collective yearning for change. It evokes in us a willingness to reflect and ask ourselves what that change might look like. And winter is the time to go within and listen.
Our workshop will begin with a movement sequence designed to help us release stagnant energy and get into the flow from within. We will practice key breathing exercises and yoga asanas that nourish us most during this winter season. Through this movement meditation, we will create space to access the part of ourselves that guides us from within, so that we may be open to guidance.
We will then each create vision boards. Think of this as an arts+crafts yoga party. Using images from magazines, we will create visual tool which in turn creates a powerful impression on our subconscious, as this part of our mind speaks a visual rather than a verbal language. Creating a vision board helps us connect to what we really want in life, how we want to feel, who we want to become, and what we crave to experience.
