We are excited to offer a new movement/embodiment modality to our schedule beginning in February. It will be offered as a regular drop-in class (so you can use your class packages and memberships), and the first class on February 7 will be offered for free for all who pre-register!
Qigong, loosely translated as Life Force Work or discipline, is an ancient Chinese movement meditation art. Qigong is a very dynamic and focused physical, mental and spiritual practice that offers many benefits. This class explores traditional qigong movement meditation and fundamental Tai Chi (Taiji) exercises with a strong emphasis on Taoist cosmology and metaphysics. It is an introduction to Chen Style Taijiquan and is intended to complement taiji practice of any style. No previous experience necessary.
