Introduction to Yoga Philosophy and Practice

Yoga is more than just the physical postures we’ve come to associate it with in the west. This series is for both beginners and experienced practitioners who want to gain a deeper understanding of the different paths, philosophical underpinnings, and principles of yoga.

Taught through the lens of Sivananda yoga, this series will cover basic asanas (postures), pranayama (breath), meditation, the four paths of yoga, the three gunas, yoga philosophy, and the three bodies. Students will gain a well-rounded understanding of yoga as a tradition, philosophy, and practice. Through this exploration, you'll be inspired to integrate the rich and rewarding teachings of yoga to your life both on and off the mat.

4 Saturday Afternoons from 3-5pm

April 14, 21, 28, and May 5

$45 for the full series or $15 per class

Each class in this series "stands alone"-- meaning, you don't need to attend the whole series in order for the content to be relevant and meaningful.

They bring a combined wealth of information of the in depth meaning of yoga and how to live, practice and use this knowledge in our everyday life for ultimate wellbeing and happiness.
