Moving with Integration and Embodiment - Embodyoga® Series

In this 4 week series, we'll explore the fundamentals of integrated, embodied movement through the lens of Embodyoga®

Woven of asana (postures), pranayama (breath), and meditation, this practice has deep tantric philosophical roots commingled with modern research in body-mind consciousness.  Embodyoga® is "yoga from the inside out," inviting us to fully embody our cells, fluids, and tissues; to move with integration and whole-body support templates; and to profoundly experience the depth of our awareness.

Explore how to move with more fluidity, support, and full-body integration. New students and very experienced practitioners alike are invited to join us on Sunday mornings from 9-10:15 on September 10, 17, 24, and October 1. Come to as many weeks as you like. Pre-registration is encouraged, and those who pre-register for the full 4-week series will receive a gift certificate to one free class.

About Angie Muzzy

Angie was drawn to movement at a very young age and has dedicated her life to understanding the body’s power of experience and expression.  A Franklin County native, she began her dance training at The Dance Studio in Orange, MA. She then went on to receive a B.A. in Theater and Dance from Keene State College and an M.F.A. in Dance at The College at Brockport (SUNY).  She currently directs the dance program at The MacDuffie School in Granby, MA and has presented her choreography at various festivals and venues around the country. She completed her 200-Hour Embodyoga® certification at Yoga Center Amherst in 2016. Her approach to guiding a class is enthusiastic, explorative and embodied as she weaves her knowledge of various movement practices and theories with yogic philosophy.
